This first one, he is trying to put his hand in his mouth. His sleeves are about 2 inches further out than his hands are - so he actually has his hand in his mouth.
It took me hours of trying in order to get one of his fleeting smiles. He usually smiles while opening his mouth and making noises, so even though he can smile for a while, they don't always translate in the picture. They end up looking like just an open mouth or something.
He has really good yawns. He seems to really enjoy waking up. He yawns really big a couple of times and stretches and stretches. And then he starts smiling and talking. And stretching.
He likes to look at you out of the corner of his eyes. It makes him look like he is trying to sneak something past you.

OMGosh, he is SOOOO cute! He doesn't look like a newborn anymore! What a cute smile! I'm glad you are describing him to us, since we didn't get to see him on our Provo trip yet again! :-(
